How will account switching change in 2013? A Digital Banking Club survey

Will 2013 herald a revolution in consumer choice, or will UK retail banking customers continue to stay at one bank their whole life?

Ahead of The Digital Banking Club’s March 26 Breakfast Briefing we want you to let us know how you think account switching will change in 2013.

Will 2013 herald a revolution in consumer choice or will UK retail banking customers continue to stay at one bank their whole life?

The Vickers report intends to trigger far-reaching and structural changes for every bank conducting retail banking in the UK, including bank account switching regulations, and the ring fencing of retail banking assets. Do you feel that the report will have the desired affect?

Update: With the Digital Banking Club Breakfast Briefing less than two weeks away we have decided to publish the results of the survey so far.

Do you feel these results accurately reflect your feelings on the Vickers report and how it will affect account switching in the UK? Do you think banks are better prepared for the change than our results are currently showing? There is still time to have your say by answering the two questions in the form below.
