Daryl Wilkinson

Daryl is the Managing Director of DWC Ltd, a strategy and innovation services company founded by him in 2015 to help businesses and regulators transition to a digital world.

Following the launch of DWC, the Financial Conduct Authority invited Daryl to be their Strategic Advisor to the Senior Partner of Fintech and Regtech. His work has produced the first strategy of its kind for Regtech innovation from any regulator worldwide and a published commitment in the FCA’s 2016 business plan to enable more efficient and effective regulation
and compliance. Daryl’s ongoing engagement with the FCA contributes to their objectives of promoting innovation, lowering barriers to entry and improving access to financial services.
Prior to DWC, Daryl was an executive at the Nationwide  Building Society where he established and led their Group  Innovation Lab. He created a new model of open and agile  innovation for Nationwide whilst developing key partnerships with Silicon Valley and London Fintech, delivering pioneering innovation in customer experience, channel management, marketing and operations.
With 20 years experience at executive level in blue chip  organizations, including a decade in financial services, Daryl has achieved customer excellence, commercial goals and multibillion pound profits for the Royal Bank of Scotland, Northern Rock, Accenture, AT&T and IBM. He has lived and worked in the USA, Canada, and Eastern and Western Europe.
Daryl regularly speaks as an authority on digital technology and was the first private sector speaker to be invited to address the House of Commons Parliamentary Reception in 2015 when he spoke about industry forces reshaping UK financial services. He has featured in interviews for the likes of the Sunday Times, CIO Magazine, Wired and FSTech Magazine.
Daryl is recognised in the European Digital Financial Services ‘Power 50’ as one of the most influential people in digital financial services in Europe and is cited as a FinTech100 and
