British financial adviser Lighthouse Group has teamed up with investment manager Money on Toast to launch a new simplified low cost online advice service on Isa and general investment account planning.

The online advice process will enable individual to identify their investment objectives, risk attitude and capacity for loss and match them with appropriate investment portfolios.

Under the partnership, Lighthouse will initially provide the service to two of its affinity group partners, the Royal College of Nursing and the CSMA Club, for a six-month trial period and will later offer the service to other Affinity partners.

The new service will allow potential customers to access financial advice to gain access to financial products via a straightforward, convenient to use and simple to follow process in addition to addressing the well-publicised savings gap.
