Canadian payment processing firm Vogogo has formed a strategic partnership with E-comprocessing (ECP), the acquiring division of the UK-based eMerchantPay, to enable credit and debit cards acceptance as a method of payment among European cryptocurrency merchants.
With this partnership, Vogogo will extend its risk management and payment processing platform to the European market enabling its Europe-based clients to offer their users seamless transactions between bitcoin and fiat currencies.
Vogogo, which is actively boarding new cryptocurrency based clients onto its platform, will launch beta card processing in February 2015.
Vogogo CEO Geoff Gordon said: “Our focus for this year is all about growth and expanding our service offering to target markets. Opening the European market is a significant step towards reaching our business goals.”
