Moneris introduces PAYD product family in US
Payment processing company Moneris Solutions has introduced its PAYD product family to the US.
It empowers merchants to process secure payments from anywhere.
The company launched smartphone-based mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solutions, PAYD Pro and PAYD, which have no set-up fees, early termination fees or minimum processing limits.
The company is collaborating with BMO Harris Bank to deliver these solutions to its business customers.
Moneris said that PAYD Pro connects the PAYD App with a portable Bluetooth enabled PAYD PIN pad, allowing businesses to transform their smartphone into a mPOS device that supports EMV-chip and signature, contactless and swipe debit and credit card transactions.
PAYD is a solution that processes credit card transactions via swipe technology using the same PAYD App.
Using the PAYD app, businesses can enhance cash flow, access real-time reporting and send digital receipts in an instant via email. The app will allow merchants to boost their customer-base outside of an established storefront environment, the company claimed.
PAYD product family is currently available for iPhone and iPad and merchants in the App Store. The company plans to roll out for Android in late summer.
Moneris president of North American strategic partnerships Chris Lee said: “PAYD Pro offers the latest security features and payment technology, while providing the convenience of quick and efficient mobile transactions. It gives merchants greater flexibility in payment acceptance, while fulfilling consumer preferences and improving customer experience.”
