Cloud computing company Salesforce has introduced a platform called, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, to improve the client-advisor relationship for the digital age.
The company claims that the new solution will allow advisors to develop deeper 1-to-1 client relationships, boost productivity and engage with clients everywhere.
The platform will let advisor see all of their information in one place, with instant access to tear-sheets, financial accounts and goals using its Client Profile.
Advisors can also map and build 1-to-1 relationships with each member of their clients’ households, using relevant information to manage their individual goals, such as budgeting for college, buying a new home or planning a summer vacation, the company added.
The new cloud leverages Salesforce Lightning Experience, a just-released user experience that aims to improve the core sales features people use daily.
Salesforce said that the Cloud’s Advisor Today homepage will increase advisor productivity by automating administrative tasks and giving advisors more time to focus on their entire book of business.
Advisors can access the Cloud app from any device, so they no longer have to schedule quarterly meetings to connect with customers.
The product is developed in partnership with wealth management firms including AIG Advisor Group, Northern Trust and United Capital.
Additionally, Salesforce’s partners Advisor Software, Informatica and Yodlee will extend functionality to the product with apps for portfolio rebalancing, data integration and account aggregation, while Accenture, Deloitte Digital, PwC and Silverline will support the product by providing technical integration assistance with wealth management firms.
The Salesforce Financial Services Cloud will be offered from February 2016.
Salesforce SVP and GM of financial services Simon Mulcahy said: “Salesforce Financial Services Cloud sets advisors free from administrative tasks and gives them the modern tools they need to supercharge their relationships.”
