FCA launches online Financial Services Register
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has launched a new register which includes consumer credit firms.
The regulator will also include firms which have been acting without the correct permissions, including those knowingly running a scam.
By including consumer credit firms that have an interim permission in the register, this will end the need to separately search the Consumer Credit interim Permission Register.
Searches can be conducted by name, reference number or postcode, and will contain information include contact details and the permissions the firm or individual has.
