HPI launches used car buyers guide
Vehicle provenance checker HPI has launched an online used car buyers guide to help consumers minimise the risks in buying a used car.
The site gives advice on what to do for buying cars privately or from a dealer, the importance of professional inspections as well as tips for conducting a test drive. As well as this, it gives tips on negotiating a good price with the seller.
It also includes a section on the most common used car buying scams such as clocking and cloning, showing users how to spot such a scam, and explaining the risks.
Neil Hodson, managing director of HPI, said: “Buying a used car is exciting, but it can also be daunting, which is why HPI has created the Used Car Buyer’s Guide.”
