LG plans to introduce new universal credit card

South Korean electronics giant LG is planning to launch a new universal credit card, named the white card.

The card is part of the company’s upcoming payment system LG G Pay that is scheduled to be rolled out in South Korea later in 2016.

The universal credit card will allow cardholders to virtually store all the plastic in wallet in a single card, and select the one required with a simple interface.

According to media reports, the new card will include a low-power display to let users know which card is active, buttons to select them and contacts to keep it charged up.

The white card is anticipated to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress at the end of this month.
