U.S. Bank offers small businesses access to Mastercard’s Business Network
US Bank has become the first bank in the US to facilitate small business owners with access to MasterCard's Business Network in a website.
U.S. Bank has become the first bank in the US to facilitate small business owners with access to MasterCard’s Business Network in a customized website.
Designed to provide offers, advice and tools that will help in running small businesses efficiently and effectively, the newly launched retail payment solution will enable small businesses to manage how, when and where their employees use business credit cards.
The bank is also introducing three new Business Credit Cards with MasterCard enhancements, namely U.S. Bank Business Edge Cash Rewards World Elite MasterCard, U.S. Bank World Elite MasterCard Company Card and U.S. Bank MasterCard Community Card.
U.S. Bank said in a statement that small merchants using any of the three newly launched cards will gain access to additional online tools from MasterCard and U.S. Bank, such as MasterCard EasySavings, U.S. Bank Connect, U.S. Bank Payment Controls and U.S. Bank MasterPass Wallet.
MasterCard senior vice president of commercial products Eugene DeSilva said: “It focuses on their opportunities and challenges including minimizing costs, getting more out of a day’s time and engaging with new and existing customers.”
U.S. Bank retail payment solutions senior vice president Cathi Stanton said: “The annual Small Business Survey from U.S. Bank indicates small business owners want services that help them efficiently manage their finances.”
