First National Bank of Pennsylvania, a subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation, has launched the latest upgrade to the FNB Direct mobile banking app that will offer customers mobile debit card controls.
The latest upgrade, known as CardGuard, will enable FNB customers to control their debit card expenses. It will also offer improved protection against fraud and budgeting support.

Clients can also set transaction controls according to location, establish limits for debit card purchases based on the amount of the transaction.
FNB said that its Direct Mobile Banking with CardGuard can be used by consumer and small business customers with the FNB Direct mobile banking app, which is available online.
First National Bank director of digital channels and payments Sam Kirsch said: “With CardGuard, we are excited to offer consumers additional security and convenience with yet another distinct feature of the FNB Direct Mobile Banking app.
“This is just the latest example of FNB’s overall corporate vision of investing in technology to improve the banking experience for our customers.”
