Neil Foulkes will lead a team of 30 banking professionals with knowledge of the region’s key industries and specialisms in areas including global cash management, commercial finance and trade and asset finance.

Lloyds said the team will work closely with firms across the region to help them develop capital management strategies that drive growth.

Foulkes joined Lloyds in 2013, taking charge of the mid-market commercial banking team in the south east and Thames Valley.

He has more than 28 years of commercial banking experience, previously holding roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC.

He said: “It may sound clichéd but cashflow is king. The south east is a dynamic and exciting place to do business, but as we enter another year of uncertainty, businesses need to manage their cashflow effectively to achieve their ambitions.”
