Phillips & Cohen enters the Spanish market
Phillips & Cohen Associates, the deceased account management specialist, has set up operations in Spain, headquartered in Madrid.
Melania Marino has been named country manager for Spain. She has more than 12 years’ experience in the Spanish collection and debt purchase industry.
Marino was previously chief executive of debt collection firm Gesif, now part of Cabot.
She was also chairperson of Angeco, a Spanish credit industry trade association, where she was instrumental in driving forward a code of conduct aimed at promoting self-regulation within the industry.
Marino said: “I have no doubt that their (Phillips & Cohen) best in class techniques and tools will be warmly welcomed by the Spanish market.”
