Lowell hire UK chief operating officer replacement
GFKL Lowell has recruited Craig White to fill the position of UK chief operating officer when Andrew Bartle leaves on April 30.
The company said Bartle, one of the co-founders of Lowell Group which is now part of pan-European debt purchaser GFKL Lowell Group, has decided to develop new ventures.
White has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial sector, his most recent position was UK customer and sales director at warranty provider Domestic and General.
He has also worked as operations director at Capita, head of retail collections and recoveries at Barclays and head of bad debt at GE Money.
James Cornell, chief executive and co-founder of Lowell, said: “We wish Andrew every success in the future as he focuses on a diverse range of start-up business and projects.”
Bartle said: “The decision to leave Lowell has been an incredibly hard one.
“When James and I established Lowell, we were full of ambitious ideas, but the superb team and successful organisation we’ve created today far surpasses those early plans and expectations.”
