Pangea rolls out remittance service in Honduras
Pangea Money Transfer, a remittance platform designed for mobile users, has launched its money transfer service in Honduras.
Application users from the US can instantly transfer funds to family and friends in a few steps, while recipients can collect their money from pickup locations or have it deposited into their bank accounts.
The service is currently available in six Central American countries including Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic.
The company is also planning to launch the service in 16 more countries across three different continents by third quarter of 2017.
Pangea Money Transfer CEO Nishu Thukral said: “It was built with simplicity and mobility in mind, so you never have to wait in line or fill out a form ever again when sending money to your loved ones.
“We’re so happy to now offer our product to more Latin American senders in the U.S., and we hope to soon serve other immigrant populations with the same standards around ease of use.”
