MoneyGram expands MobilePass service to all its US locations
Money transfer firm MoneyGram has extended its MobilePass digital money transfer service to its entire network in the US.
The service that was launched in 2016 as a pilot program inside more than 3,000 locations is now available at more than 35,000 agent locations across the US.
MoneyGram MobilePass service enables clients to initiate a transaction on their mobile device or online and pay for the transaction at one of the company’s thousands of locations across the US.

Chinese firm Ant Financial, which operates mobile payment service Alipay, agreed to acquire MoneyGram for $880m In January this year. In April, Ant Financial increased its bid by 36% from $880m to $1.2bn.
