Wirecard selects Astute’s solution to offer AI consumer interaction
Wirecard has selected Astute Solutions’ chatbot software to power its mobile payment product, boon by Wirecard.
The chatbot solution creates conversational interactions with customers, determining the intent of the request and the best answer from multiple data sources, including authored content, external sources and other business systems.
The new technology, Astute Bot, will enable boon users to get personalised service interactions via messaging interface.
Wirecard said that boon by Wirecard is the only mobile payment solution in Europe that is completely independent from any bank. The app enables users to make mobile, contactless payments at NFC-capable point of sale locations.
The payment application, introduced in 2015, is currently available in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, the UK, France, Switzerland, and Italy.
Both the firms are planning to offer the solution to more of Wirecard’s business clients.
