Transactis deploys electronic money platform from Sopra Banking Software

Transactis, a French electronic transaction hub for Société Générale, La Banque Postale and Crédit du Nord, has deployed an electronic money platform from Sopra Banking Software.

Transactis, a French electronic transaction hub for Société Générale, La Banque Postale and Crédit du Nord, has deployed an electronic money platform from Sopra Banking Software.

According to Sopra Banking, the electronic money platform will use Sopra Banking Cards-Issuer for contract and support management, as well as associated payment and withdrawal activities.

The software company said that Sopra Banking Cards-Issuer will offer various pooled services such as multitude of visuals, reduction on card production delays, mobile payments, payments without contract and post-personalisation.

Transactis general manager, Alain Tuduri, said: "The partnership between Sopra Banking Software and Transactis has allowed us to take into account the needs of all our founding banks as well as pooling their resources to ensure the platform’s scalability, readying it for future transaction projects.

"This, along with our choice for an industrialised solution, has enabled us to drive down costs on transaction operations, updates and maintenance."
