PayPal has extended its support for fingerprint authentication to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, as part of its plan to enable the users to securely and conveniently pay online.
PayPal fingerprint authentication on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S is being launched across 27 markets across the world.
At first the technology will be rolled out in the US and Canada, while additional markets – including Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, and United Kingdom – will follow this summer.
The company said that the users of Galaxy Tab S can use their fingerprint to log in and pay at millions of merchants that accept PayPal on mobile and in stores without any need of passwords or logins.
