Zapp adds three new firms to partners network
Zapp, a mobile payments provider, has added TrustPay Global, Checkout.com and Secure Trading to its payment partners network.
Zapp, a UK-based mobile payments provider, has added Secure Trading, TrustPay Global and Checkout.com to its payment partners network.
Under the agreement, all the three payment service providers will work to support the rollout of Zapp’s low friction, secure and mobile enabled checkout.
They will integrate the Zapp payment eco-system into the core payment methods that they offer and to jointly market the Zapp system to their networks of merchants.
Zapp claims that its platform, which is expected to be rolled out to merchants in 2014 and 2015, can be easily integrated into merchant, online and mobile checkouts.
It can also be used at the point-of-sale for NFC, QR code or any other system that a retailer has implemented, the company added.
Commenting on the partnership, Zapp chief executive Peter Keenan said: “We now have many of the most innovative and forward thinking payment providers and acquirers supporting Zapp which is a reflection of the momentum that the Zapp payment network has in the market.”
“We are working hard with all our partners from banks to payment providers to get Zapp’s high conversion, low fraud and highly secure payments into market,” he added.
