Payment services provider Anderson Zaks has partnered with Datecs to build a fully secure, scalable m-POS solution, to deliver secure, cost effective solution for EPOS systems on Android, Win8 and iOS tablets.
The new fully encrypted mobile payments solution will combine Datecs’ BluePad 50 universal mobile payment device with Anderson Zaks’ RedCard payment processing service.
The system includes point-to-point encryption from the PIN pad to the RedCard software that can be used with in a mobile EPOS (or m-POS) environment, and decrease the PCI scope for the merchant or retailer.
Anderson Zaks managing director Iain High said, “The current crop of mobile payment solutions are largely aimed at micro-merchants, and typically have limits on the number of transactions and transaction value as well as high costs per transaction.”

The company said that the joint solution is aimed at vendors looking to develop next generation of EPOS solutions for the tablet marketplace with hardware manufacturers such as Samsung, Panasonic, Casio and Powa POS.
Compact and lightweight, Datecs BluePad 50 is a Bluetooth mobile payments device that works with all forms of payments such as EMV, Chip & PIN, magnetic stripe and contactless cards.
Providing easy integration, Anderson Zaks RedCard Processing Service allows retailers to accept and process any card anytime, anywhere.
