PayPal has launched its online mobile payment services in Holland, Netherlands, through a partnership with Rabobank’s MyOrder.

The new service will enable the Dutch shoppers to use their PayPal accounts to order and pay for goods and services at 1500 high street locations.

The integration with PayPal allows users to order and pay for food or drinks ahead of arriving at a cafe; to pay at the table in a restaurant without calling over the waiter, or pay for parking without searching for the closest meter.

A click on the local tab will lead users to participating local businesses nearby, where they can swipe to check-in and pay directly.

PayPal processed $180bn of payments in 2013, while $27bn was made from a smartphone or tablet, up 99% on the previous year. PayPal has already launched similar services in Australia and London.

In 2012, Rabobank took an 80% stake in MyOrder, which manages orders for the hotel, restaurant and Dutch cafeteria industries.
